What Your Watch Is Made Of

Watch
These sturdy and detailed bands range along many lines of artistic vision. They comprise the watch bracelet, crown, and and case. Scroll through to see some of the options available for your custom build.

Movement
In plain terms, the movement is your watch's internalized mechanization. It is made up of gears, springs, and other tiny components that keep your timepiece running reliably. Davis Timepieces offers multiple varieties of automatic movements with day, day & date, and skeleton options; as well as a battery chronograph option for those in need of a stopwatch function.

During your call with Aren, you will learn which cases support each movement in order to select the best fit for your day-to-day needs. But here is a break-down of each movement's features:

Dials
These watch faces, shown in the images below, offer a variety of numbered and decorative options as well as date displays. However, these are only a handful of options colors and styles to you--during your call with Aren, he will show you the wide array.

Hands
Watch hands indicate the time by moving around the dial, pointing to the hours, minutes, and seconds. They are essential for readability and give analog watches their classic appeal. Without them, a watch would lose its primary function, relying on alternative displays that lack the same elegance and precision.
Rotor
For an added artistic flair, you can choose to customize your watch's rotor as well, which keeps your watch running. We offer standard rotor backs, rotor stickers (which are applied to the stock rotor), and upgraded rotors (which replace the stock rotor). Below are just a few of your options--on your call with our watch builder, Aren, will show you a wider range of options.
